Howard graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California School of Business in 1978. He began the first eight years of his career practicing in the tax department of Arthur Young & Co. and left as a Tax Manager to become a Tax Partner at Avery & Greig LLP in 1986. His areas of practice include real estate, partnership, and trust & estate planning and compliance.
