With over two decades of experience across Business Management and Investment Banking, Dan serves as trusted advisor to leading recording artists, actors, directors, producers, and professional athletes. He has become recognized internationally for his work in touring, having advised on and structured a number of the highest-grossing tours of all time. Beyond touring, Dan is known for helping clients build businesses, develop new revenue streams, and execute transactions that often lead to transformative liquidity events. In 2025, he was nominated by Music Business Worldwide as Business Manager of the Year.

A qualified corporate financier and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Dan has advised on transactions exceeding $6 billion across sport, media, entertainment, fashion, technology, and consumer sectors.

After graduating from University College London (UCL), Dan began his career in A&R at a major record label and then in artist management before moving to the Investment Banking arm of one of the world’s largest accounting firms, where he specialized in media, entertainment, and sports. He later worked with the Dubai Government, overseeing a major sports investment. In 2006, he joined Ross Bennet Smith, launched the firm’s corporate finance division, and rose to Managing Partner in 2016. He merged Ross Bennet Smith with NKSFB in 2022 and has served on several boards, most notably music streaming platform Tidal, from launch through its 2021 sale to Block Inc. (formerly Square Inc.).

Away from work, Dan lives in London with his wife and daughter. He is an avid tennis player, a qualified pilot, and a trustee of two charitable foundations.
