Daniel Ross Named Business Manager of the Year

Congratulations to our Partner, Daniel Ross, for winning the inaugural Business
Manager of the Year award at the Music Business UK Awards. The awards were
presented by Music Business Worldwide (MBW) in association with YouTube. The sold-
out ceremony recognized and celebrated artistic and industry talent across songwriting,
production, record labels, music publishers, talent management, and more.

Daniel is both a Partner of NKSFB and Managing Partner of UK-based Ross Bennet
Smith, which has been a division of NKSFB since 2022. For over two decades, he has
served as a trusted advisor to leading recording artists, songwriters, actors, directors,
producers, and professional athletes.

While MBW launched the Music Business UK Awards in 2016, the introduction of the
Business Manager of the Year category this year marked a milestone in MBW’s
recognition of the vital role played by financial professionals in supporting the music
industry’s creative success. Finalists were nominated by a confidential panel of music
industry experts, and the shortlist was then voted on by a panel comprised mostly of
transatlantic talent managers.
