Michael Karlin Inspires USC Leventhal Graduates 

NKSFB Founding Partner Michael Karlin gave the commencement speech at the May 16 graduation ceremony for the USC Leventhal School of Accounting. Karlin graduated with an accounting degree in 1976 and later completed his Master of Taxation from USC Leventhal in 2009. He also serves on USC Leventhal’s board of advisors.

“I was honored to address the class,” Karlin said. “I wanted graduates to know that a degree in accounting from Leventhal is both versatile and valuable. Most importantly, I wanted them to know accounting is, without a doubt, cool.”

Over 300 graduates attended the 46th graduation ceremony. Partners Wallace Fortune, Ana Valencia, Gail Karlin, Lindsey Wong, Mark Silah, Bessy Wong, and several NKSFB staff members attended the ceremony.
