Mickey Segal is a founder of NKSFB and Managing Partner, building a firm that started in 1981 with three partners and an administrative assistant into the largest business management firm in the U.S.

Mickey has over 40 years of experience in accounting, tax and business management services, including:

  • Providing the highest level of services to high-net worth clients
  • Practice management
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Personnel management and development
  • Financial plan review and implementation
  • Structuring business entities

Mickey has been recognized as one of the entertainment industry’s top business managers by The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Billboard.

Mickey graduated cum laude in accounting from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona. In 1997 he was inducted into its Accounting Hall of Fame and received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the university’s business school. Mickey is a CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mickey served 12 years on the Arcadia City Council and as Mayor of Arcadia, California, four times. He is involved in numerous philanthropic activities, including chairing the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation and Arcadia Unified School District’s Technology Plan capital campaigns. He has also chaired for Covenant House, Arcadia Methodist Hospital, California State Polytechnic University, and the American Cancer Society capital campaigns. Among several recognitions, most recently Mickey was awarded the Dave Winfield Humanitarian Award by the Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation in Beverly Hills in January 2019.

Mickey and his wife Lee live in Arcadia and have three adult children, Allison, Matthew and Andrew and five grandchildren. They are members of the Pasadena Jewish Temple & Center, where Mickey is a past President. Mickey enjoys traveling, family time, watching football, and entertaining his grandchildren.
